29 years of Cajun and Creole Goodness! We're the "OG" in West Chester, PA!

In 1996, Proprietor Donny Syracuse was fresh off the tour bus after traveling around the world playing with “Arcade” (Ratt and Cinderella) opening for Bon Jovi. It is not uncommon to find a tour bus outside the Caffe. Such guests as Ratt, Cinderella, G Love & Special Sauce, Poison, Dokken, and the Black Crowes have been known to pop in and party with the High Street crew. You can feel the vibe of High Street as soon as you walk in.

Now approaching its 28th year, The High Street Caffe has gone above and beyond the reputation of being consistent. Winning “Best of Philly” in 1999 was just the start of culinary recognition. We have been selected as “Best of the Main Line for Cajun & Creole” 10 years counting and have also been selected by the people of Chester County. The High Street Caffe has also been recognized by the Zagat review posting a 29 out of 30 points for cuisine. Many are of the opinion that it was the High Street Caffe that put West Chester on the map as a culinary destination. Please keep in mind that we no longer have a liquor license. We are now a BYOB again, just like when we started out!
