Welcome to The High Street Caffe!

ImageHigh Street Caffe, located at 322 S. High Street in historical West Chester, Pennsylvania, is best recognized for its Cajun, Creole and Exotic cuisine. With a Funky-Eclectic atmosphere and a “staff you will want to take home with you," the High Street Caffé has been a favorite of Chester County.

Now approaching its 10th year, The High Street Caffe has gone above and beyond the reputation of being consistent. Winning “Best of Philly” in 1999 was just the start of culinary recognition. We have been selected as "Best of the Main Line for Cajun & Creole" 10 years counting and have also been selected by the people of Chester County. The High Street Caffe has also been recognized by the Zagat review posting a 29 out of 30 points for cuisine. Many are of the opinion that it was the High Street Caffe that put put West Chester on the map as a culinary destination.

Spotlight

As part of the launch of our new website, the High Street Caffe decided to produce a video giving a rare glimpse into the kitchen as well as getting the thoughts of proprietor Don Syracuse. Don talks about his humble beginnings, and shares his insights on why the High Street Caffe has become a culinary destination.

The video was shot, produced and edited by Pixeldust Films, an independent film company. The film was shot on 2 seperate evenings in high definition and captures the spirit of the restuarant as well as gives a rare glimpse into the famous High Street kitchen. It's great to watch master chef Jay Wenner preparing the meals as he talks to the camera about the process. Enjoy!
